We went to pick Rosie up from David’s on Sunday and brought the girls along to introduce them to stock. What a fun time! Spirit, Rosie and Pip all did wonderfully! I can’t wait to get them back out again and really begin some training!
Rosie was excited to see us and has settled in back at home. I know she will miss her home away from home as they spoiled her as much as we do. We are anxiously awaiting the time to confirm the pregnancy in mid-February. This is going to be one versatile litter!

This litter will produce typey puppies with excellent conformation and biddability. This should be a nice all around breeding producing puppies both at home doing performance/stock/conformation as well as just being good all around family pets.
Blues and Blacks only.
We are taking reservations on this breeding now. Puppies are due mid-March!

What we’ve been up to!

Fall and so far Winter have been very busy for us!
Our altered boy took more points and two best of breed wins down in Florida.

Our little bred by red girl got her first points out of the puppy classes.

Spirit, the bed hog, picked up another reserve to a major this fall.

And our Junior is still picking up year end points nearly everytime she goes in the ring along with working on Rosie’s rally titles.

We have litter plans this year too! I really exciting, versatile litter that should be due this spring!!

It’s hard to believe that the puppies in the photos are now 6 months old! Though not nearly as surprising that the blog fell by the wayside during the last 4 months!

I hear from all the owners on a pretty regular basis. Pip, the purple puppy stayed here. I’ll have some new pics of her this weekend. She’ll be our up and coming show girl! Val, who was known by many names and was the yellow puppy is currently living with me too. I’m pretty happy with how they are turning out and plan to haul both of them over to Texas in October for the ASCA Nationals!

Pink puppy is living in LA and is Adelaide now. She’s a mess. I have tons of pics of her! She’s so lovely and her owners love her to bits.

Riley, the green puppy, is living in Georgia and has two boys to play with and a swimming pool in the summer. He is having a blast!

Boo is in TN. He was the blue puppy. He is doing really well too and gets to go to work with his owner on occassion.

Eva became Bella and got to fly on a plane up to MN to be with her half brother. They became best buds! I’ve heard that she likes the livestock too!!

I got very blessed with really good homes for all the puppies from this litter. I will definitely do photo shoots, keep a blog and run a camera for all my litters. Not sure when the next one will be. We’ve got some things in mind. I may have to post some announcements here in a few months!

6 weeks!

Six Week photos are late, I know! It was a busy week for the pups and for us too! But better late than never. There will only be one more photo shoot of the babies. A week from tomorrow, the first of the babies will venture off to their new homes and anxiously awaiting puppy parents! We will be sad to see them go, but are so excited for their new owners. We have some wonderful new friends taking home some really precious babies!

We usually have a lot of pictures of Eva, but she was not thrilled about being pulled from playtime to have her picture taken! If you look close, you can see a nice dirty smudge right down her nose!

Spring is here!

The past few days have been busy for the babies. Traveling to new places, meeting new people and having their eye clearances done. They’ve taken it in stride. They are developing distinct personalities and are completely on the move. We can hardly keep up.

Time continues to just fly by!! The puppies are getting more and more adventurous. They are at that age where we don’t get much done for watching their constant antics.
(Names are just our nicknames. Their new families may change them!)

Babies had a much needed first bath today. Most everyone did really well. A few were not thrilled with the water once soap was added to it! Everyone did fine with the blow dryer. Most just wanted to wander around and explore the new environment. They seem to be pretty well adjusted little babies.
Here are some photos from the day. Don’t let the pitifullness of their faces fool you! We did not torture them and the water was warm!!
